Depending on the administrator’s configuration, users may choose their preferred method for the second factor during sign in.
The following options are available:
TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password): A widely used and secure method where the user receives a time-based code via an app on their smartphone (e.g., Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator), which is then entered during sign in.This is the recommended method due to its higher level of security.
Email: The user receives an email containing a one-time code, which must be entered as the second factor. This method is considered less secure and is therefore not recommended.
The setup page
Here, the user can select the desired method using the available selection options. Once the selection is confirmed, they are redirected to the corresponding method.
At the bottom of the displayed pages, there is a language selector. This allows the user to choose a language, as they are not yet logged in and therefore their personal language setting is not available.
