Note
The input fields marked with yellow stars (*) in the user and group management are required fields.
Roles and Access Rights
The logged-in user must be assigned at least one of the roles System Administrator or Specialist Administrator through a group.
Log in with the user STPAdmin when starting STP Documents for the first time after a new installation to create users and groups.

Additionally, the assignment of the user to one or more groups is stored.
Roles can only be assigned to groups. Group users together and assign the desired roles to the group.

Administrators
The group Administrators is permanently assigned the roles System Administrator, Specialist Administrator, and Document Administrator. These roles cannot be removed, but additional roles can be assigned. The group has full access rights to all objects in STP Documents. Users assigned to the Administrators group can manage all areas and documents in STP Documents. The Administrators group cannot be deleted.
All
The group All includes all STP Documents users. If no access rights are assigned to an object, the group All receives full access to the object. The group All cannot be deleted.
Roles
Roles determine which functions the logged-in user can use within STP Documents. Depending on the assigned role, parts of STP Documents may not be available, or a user with the required permission may need to log in.
Roles are predefined in STP Documents and cannot be changed by the user.
The roles listed in the following tables are predefined in STP Documents.
The role assigned to the user through a group determines whether certain areas (e.g., office settings) of STP Documents can be accessed by the logged-in user.
If a user is not assigned a role through a group, they are automatically assigned to the group All. All functions not restricted by a role are available to the logged-in user.
