The Interface of Role Management

Section "Groups"

You can use the filter input field to limit the number of list items displayed in the "Groups" section. It shows all groups whose names contain the entered string. Clear the input field to display all groups again.

The "Groups" section lists the names of the groups available in STP User Management. When you select an item from the list, the roles defined for STP Documents are listed in the "Roles" section.

Multiple selection of groups is not supported in this section.

Note
All groups from STP User Management are displayed, including those possibly created in STP Lexolution (formerly KMS).

Note
The system identifier used is the string defined by the LsbIdentifier parameter in the server's configuration file (STP.Ecm.Remoting Server.exe.config) (Default=main).

Section "Roles"

By checking or unchecking the boxes in front of the role names, you can assign fixed roles in STP Documents to the group selected in the "Groups" section.

If the checkbox in front of the role name is checked, the corresponding role is assigned to the group.

Each group can be assigned more than one role.

Add Roles

Select a group and check the boxes in front of the roles you want to assign to the group.

Note
Roles can only be assigned to groups.

You can assign a role to users by assigning the user (or a group associated with the user) in STP User Management to a group that already has the desired role assigned.

Remove Roles

Select a group and uncheck the boxes in front of the roles you want to remove from the group.
