Assign a Document to a Process

You must be logged in as a user with Edit (write access) permissions for the document. To assign a document to a process, follow these steps:

  • Select the document in the document list to assign it to a process.

  • Right-click to open the context menu of the document list.

  • In the context menu, click on "Processes" > "Assign Process...".

  • In the "Available Processes" section, select the processes you want to assign the document to.

    Click the Button > (Add selected documents to all chosen processes).


    Note

    You can drag and drop documents from the document list into processes.

    Multiple documents can be selected. A document can be assigned to multiple processes.



    Note

    Assigning a document to a process is not possible if

    • the current version of the document is not selected
    • a document is marked for deletion.

Remove a Document from a Process

You must be logged in as a user with Edit (write access) permissions for the document. To remove a document from a process, follow these steps:

  • Select the document in the document list to remove it from a process.

  • Right-click to open the context menu of the document list.

  • In the context menu, click on "Processes" > "Assign Process..."

  • In the "Processes with Selected Documents" section, select the processes you want to remove the document from.

  • Click the Button < (Remove selected documents from all chosen processes).


    Note

    Multiple documents can be selected.
