Installing
STP Documents requires logging into Windows as a local administrator. You can also start the setup as a non-administrator user by selecting the "Run as administrator" option. You'll need an administrator's username and password for this.
Before installing the server, enable or install the .NET Framework 4.8 if needed.
The RabbitMQ service must be installed and configured.
If necessary, the STP.Updater Client is installed before running the standard DESK setup. When installing the STP.Updater Client on a terminal server, check the box for installation on a terminal server.
Install Standard DESK on a Terminal Server
Note
You need about 200 MB of free disk space for the installation.
You must be logged in as a local administrator.
Install or enable the .NET Framework 4.8 preferably before installing STP Documents. Downloading and installing from the internet may take some time.
To install the Standard DESK on a terminal server, follow these steps:
Start the command prompt with the "Run as administrator" option. Enter the command change user /install and press the [Enter] key. The user session is ready for application installation.
Navigate to the installation directory for the client and start the executable file STP LEXolution.DMS Client Setup.exe. The installation steps are described in the chapter [Install Standard DESK on a Workstation].
Start the command prompt with the "Run as administrator" option. Enter the command change user /execute and press the [Enter] key. The user session is ready for application execution. The terminal server client can now be used.
