Depending on group membership and the roles assigned through it, logging into the STP Documents Firm settings is necessary.
Administrators
The logged-in STP Documents user is a member of the Administrators group or has been assigned the three roles of System, Specialist, and Document Administrator through a group.
The logged-in user has a valid STP Documents password or is logged into STP Documents as a Windows user.
To start the Firm settings, follow these steps:
Click on "Application" in the main menu.

Click on "Firm settings".
Alternatively, press the keyboard shortcut [Alt]+[F9] to open the Firm settings.
System Administrator, Specialist Administrator, Document Administrator
The logged-in STP Documents user has been assigned at least one of the three roles of System, Specialist, or Document Administrator through a group. The logged-in user has a valid STP Documents password.
To start the Firm settings, follow these steps:
Click on "Application" in the main menu and select "Firm settings".
Click on the Current User button to open the Firm settings as the currently logged-in user. Depending on the roles assigned to the user, not all configuration options may be available. If the roles assigned to the currently logged-in user are not sufficient for the planned administrative tasks, enter the login name of a user with the desired roles of System, Specialist, Document, or File Administrator in the Username field. Enter their password in the Password field to open the Firm settings as a user with administrative roles with the desired functions. Then click on the OK button.
File Administrator, Controller, Offline, Intern, Lawyer, Caseworker, Representative
The logged-in STP Documents user does not have any of the three roles of System, Specialist, or Document Administrator assigned through a group. Logging into the Firm settings is only possible with a user who has at least one of the three roles of System Administrator, Specialist Administrator, or Document Administrator. Even users with the role of File Administrator are not allowed to log into the Firm settings.
Users who are not assigned administrative roles need the login name and password of a user with administrative roles to open the Firm settings.
Click on "Application" in the main menu.
Click on "Firm settings".
Enter the login name of a user with the desired roles of System Administrator, Specialist Administrator, Document Administrator, or File Administrator in the Username field. Enter their password in the Password field to open the Firm settings as a user with administrative roles with the desired functions. Then click on the OK button.
