Manage Task Lists

  • Start the Task Manager.

  • Right-click to open the context menu and select "Manage Task List".
    The "Manage Task Lists" window will open.

Create Folder

  • Open the "Manage Task Lists" window.
  • Select the Office folder or the folder under which you want to create a new folder.
  • In the "Available Task Lists" area, click the New Folder button.
  • Change the name of the folder.

Rename Folder

  • Open the "Manage Task Lists" window.
  • Select the Office folder or the folder under which you want to create a new folder.
  • Right-click to open the context menu and select "Rename Folder".
  • Change the name of the folder and press the [Enter] key.

Delete Folder

  • Open the "Manage Task Lists" window.
  • Select the Office folder or the folder under which you want to create a new folder.
  • Right-click to open the context menu and select "Delete Folder".

Refresh View

  • Open the "Manage Task Lists" window.
  • Select the Office folder or the folder under which you want to create a new folder.
  • Right-click to open the context menu and select "Refresh View".

New Task List

  • Open the "Manage Task Lists" window.
  • Select the folder in the "Available Task Lists" area where you want to place the new task list.
  • Click the New Task List button.
  • Change the name of the task list.
  • Select a list type from the List Type dropdown:
    • "Combined" creates a combined task list.
    • "Free" creates a free task list.
    • "Checklist" creates a checklist type task list.
    • "Strict" creates a strict task list.
  • Enter values in the Info Field 1, Info Field 2, and Description input fields.
  • Click the Save button.

Edit Task List

  • Open the "Manage Task Lists" window.
  • Select the folder in the "Available Task Lists" area where the task list is located.
  • If needed, change the values in the Name, List Type, Info Field 1, Info Field 2, and Description input fields.
  • Click the Save button.

Delete Task List

  • Open the "Manage Task Lists" window.
  • Select the folder in the "Available Task Lists" area where the task list is located.
  • Right-click to open the context menu and select "Delete Task List".

Add Tasks to Task Lists

This guide assumes the following:

  • The folder with the task list is selected.
  • The task list to which tasks should be added is selected.
  • The task list is displayed in the "Available Task Lists" area.

To add tasks to a task list, follow these steps:

  • In the "Task List: <Name of Task List>" area, click the New Task button.
  • Enter values in the input or dropdown fields.
  • Click the Save button.
  • Repeat the previous steps until all tasks are displayed in the task list.

Change Task Order

This guide assumes the following:

  • The folder with the task list is selected.
  • The task list in which the task order should be changed is selected.
  • The task list is displayed in the "Available Task Lists" area.
  • The task list contains more than one task.

To change the order of tasks in a task list, follow these steps:

  • Select a task from the task list to move it up or down.
  • Click the ˄ button (Move Task Up) to move the task up one position in the order.
    Click the ˅ button (Move Task Down) to move the task down one position in the order.
  • Repeat the previous two steps until all tasks are in the desired position.

Disable Automatic Selection of Next Task in Free Task Lists

This option is only evaluated for free task lists. To disable the automatic selection of the next task in free task lists, follow these steps:

  • Check the box Do not automatically jump to the next task step after completing a task step in free task lists.
  • Checking the box is saved immediately. The Save button is not activated.

This selection applies to all free task lists.

Related to
