The Outlook DESK is an add-in for Microsoft's software, meaning the "regular" Outlook is enhanced with features from another software (STP Documents).
This affects the Outlook user interface.
Below the folder directory in Outlook, you'll find the Commander from the Outlook DESK.
The email list, where Outlook displays the inbox, for example, has two views you can switch between.
The preview also has two views.
A note area, similar to the Pro Client, can appear before the preview.
Between the preview and the ribbon, there's a search mask for files and file registers. This is also integrated into the window of an open email.

In the "Home" ribbon, you'll find the "LEXolution.DMS" group. The buttons there take you to the import window and the DMS Pro Client, which will eventually replace the standard DESK.
Note
Through a firm setting or personal settings, the DMS controls can be hidden in Outlook. This is necessary for 32-bit versions of Microsoft Outlook. The DMS controls can be opened in the DMS Pro Client. This is conveniently done via the Open in DMS button in the Outlook ribbon or in the Windows taskbar.By outsourcing the DMS client, the memory usage in Outlook, especially during extensive import processes, is significantly reduced.
