New and Enhanced Features
- The TeamViewer has been updated with the new stp.one branding. (66454)
- A new general document data field "Document Class" has been introduced Standard DESK/ DMS Pro Client. The value list is predefined by stp.one and cannot be changed by the firm. The field is needed for linking with other stp.one services (e.g., STP Smart Claims). The field is also available for manual editing/viewing via the interface and in the Collector for selection. Its default setting can be administered in the firm settings.
The content of the "Document Class" field can be shown or hidden in the document lists of the Standard DESK and the DMS Pro Clients via the respective column editor. You can search for the new field in both user interfaces. In the search profile management and the detailed search, you can create conditions like "Document Data.Document Class" for searching document data. Known Issues
If there are inconsistencies with the STP standard document list layouts, please delete the folder of the local personal layouts. The corresponding path in the user's roaming profile for your personal layouts is: %AppData%\STP AG\LEXolution.Office...
Note: Deleting the folder will delete your personalized layouts and they will need to be recreated.
When using Citrix environments, issues may arise where the log states, for example:
"Not enough quota available to process this command."
In this case, the temporary files under Windows should be cleaned up (cleanmgr).

The release for Office 32 Bit is only valid with the additional agreement from STP.
In the 32-bit version, it is important that the compatibility mode is enabled in all Office products. Without using compatibility mode, various errors may occur in Outlook DESK and Office integration.
It is important to set the compatibility mode before installing Outlook DESK and Office integration, as errors may occur at the first start otherwise.
We generally recommend using the 64-bit version of Office if possible. The 32-bit version is known to quickly run into memory shortages, leading to errors and crashes.
The release for Office 365 includes restrictions and is only valid for local installations of already released Office products (Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise). The release does not explicitly apply to the cloud version of Office.
We release Office 365 with the restriction that we cannot rule out that an update to the Office 365 desktop applications may jeopardize the functionality of the STP add-ins.
Documents On-Premise is tested and released for use with Exchange Online (Office 365) in the current version.
We will continue to test future versions against the current version. However, updates to the Exchange Online environment may cause malfunctions that need to be analyzed promptly.
This release is only valid for using Exchange Online as a backend system and not for using Outlook Web Access (OWA). Using the Documents On-Premise Outlook DESK in OWA is not possible.
The Outlook Icon Add-In is supported for Office 365 only up to Outlook version 2306. From version 2310, the blue dot for imported emails can no longer be displayed.
The release for Exchange Online explicitly does not apply to the Exchange coupling of Documents On-Premise. This exclusively affects the file synchronization in the sidebar of the Standard DESK.
Limitations: - For client operating systems, it is explicitly noted that Home, Starter, and RT Editions are NOT supported. - There may be incompatibilities with the Office Editions Starter, Home & Student, Home & Business, and Office RT. - On Windows 10, users without administrative rights cannot save files directly to C:. Therefore, any settings in Documents On-Premise that result in files being saved directly to C: must be changed.
Additional Notes: - Documents On-Premise requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 on both the server and client sides. Please install the .NET Framework 4.8 in advance (e.g., during a planned maintenance window) on the DMS server and clients to ensure the Documents On-Premise update runs smoothly and without interruption. Installing the .NET Framework requires a system restart. - Documents On-Premise requires the central STP User Management (UM) version 1.6.512 or higher and STP common services version 1.5.0 or higher. You can find downloads for these components on the STP website under Software Downloads. When updating from version LEXolution.DMS 7.0, please perform the DMS update first, followed by the update of STP User Management and STP common services. - For use with winsolvenz, at least winsolvenz.p4 10.12 or higher is required. winsolvenz.p4 is not supported. - For use with LEXolution, at least LEXolution 6.1.132 or higher is required. - For newer SQL Server versions, it is essential to set the compatibility mode to SQL Server 2008, otherwise updating the Documents On-Premise database is not possible. - When using DMS with load-balanced terminal servers or user profile synchronizations, configuring the central editing directory is absolutely necessary. - Starting with Documents On-Premise 8.0.213, the standard DESK for document editing requires the LCAS installation and Office integration. - After successfully updating to this version of Documents On-Premise, please restart the DMS server machine once.
