Enter WVL
Enter a follow-up by recording the file, description, follow-up date, responsibility, file participant with external file reference, and an individual note. The file is pre-selected if you record the follow-up in the file view through the Deadlines and Follow-ups function group. You can enter the description individually or choose a pre-configured entry from the selection list. The main responsible attorney for the file is always pre-selected as the responsible party, but this assignment can be changed for each individual follow-up.
Edit WVL
With the Edit WVL button, you have several options. You can edit the existing follow-up, mark it as completed, or use the Completed and New button to complete the follow-up and enter a new follow-up in the same step. An existing follow-up can only be changed regarding the date and the individual note.
Context Menu
You can switch directly from the follow-up entry to other views of the associated file via the context menu.
Inactivity WVL
If no times or expenses are recorded, no follow-up is created or completed, no invoicing, no credit, no payment, no third-party funds are recorded on a file within a certain period, Lexolution automatically generates an inactivity follow-up for the main responsible attorney. The inactive period is configured in months under Administration > System Administration > General Settings by the firm. This does not apply to closed or rejected files.
Complete Multiple WVLs
If you have selected multiple follow-ups in the list, you can complete them in one step using the Complete WVL button in the Status function group in the ribbon.
Follow-up Overview
You can display the follow-ups of the currently filtered view in a report by clicking Follow-up Overview.
Follow-up Single Print
You can display one or more of the selected follow-ups in a report as a single print by marking the desired follow-ups and clicking Follow-up Single Print.
