Here you can set up your firm's practice groups, including an abbreviation and a detailed description. You can assign individual employees of your firm to these groups. In accounting, costs or revenues can be directly assigned to the practice groups as additional information for individual entries, enabling later analyses such as a profit center review of the practice group.
It is possible to historically assign an employee to multiple practice groups simultaneously and manage a percentage allocation of an employee across several practice groups. The affiliations and percentage allocations are available in historical form for analyses in Lexolution.BI.
Expand Assignment The management of assignments is done in the "Practice Groups" view (Navigation > Firm > Practice Groups). In the "Employee View" (Navigation > Firm > Employees), you can add an employee to one or more practice groups.
Percentage Allocation The system allows the user to configure a percentage allocation across multiple practice groups for each employee. The management of percentage shares can be done in the "Practice Groups" view or in the "Employee" view.
Manage History The affiliations to the practice groups can be recorded historically. This means that in the management view, you can specify which employee worked in which practice groups during which periods. This historical record can be set on a daily basis.
Transfer to Lexolution.BI The system provides the described functions in Lexolution.BI:
- Employee affiliation to practice group(s)
- Percentage allocation of employee to practice group(s)
- Daily historical record of affiliations including allocation of employee to practice group(s)
