Overview of Document Creation

The text integration in Lexolution follows two approaches.

In a law firm, many dictations are typically written. Lexolution supports the workflow of starting by opening Word, selecting a letterhead (e.g., firm letterhead, phone memo), inserting the contact details of the attorney and the secretary in the letterhead, and writing the dictation. These individual texts can be created directly from the Microsoft Word program and then saved in the case register of the Lexolution file.

All documents related to the creation of invoices, credit notes, cancellations, dunning letters, or case covers are exclusively created from Lexolution. These documents rely on the evaluation of complex calculated data from the Lexolution database; therefore, the placeholders can only be filled out from within Lexolution. These documents are automatically saved programmatically within Lexolution in the automatically generated invoice folder of the file. You have the option to print automated cover letters for your invoice documents.

For generic content controls, the term placeholder is used in this document.

Standard templates are available upon delivery, which can be customized as needed.
