Export Previews

The accounting export is used to transfer the bookings created in Lexolution to an external accounting program. The output is generated in configurable formats. The previews are created separately for accounting and for revenue and acquisition distribution. The columns for bookings, revenue distributions, and acquisition distributions indicate when data of the respective type can be exported. The previews are created using separate buttons for bookings and for revenue and acquisition distribution. Consequently, separate export files are also created for the accounting bookings and for the revenue and acquisition distribution.

To display the previews to be exported, you have a location filter (location-based restriction of bookings) and a booking filter (user-based restriction of bookings) available.

Using the button Create previews for bookings, you can generate export bookings for the selected previews.
Multiple selection of previews is possible. By clicking the button Create previews for bookings, the export bookings are created. A selection window appears. There, the generated export bookings can either be directly exported to an output file or first viewed and checked in the Export-Export bookings view.

The conversion of booking amounts during export to a different base currency must be activated. Once activated, the export currency is queried during the export process.

To create the export file, specifying an export format is required. Export formats can be configured in the Export Formats view.

Using the button Create previews for distributions, you can generate revenue and acquisition distributions for the selected previews. The process of generating export files works the same as when generating export bookings.
