The following sections explain the integration of the Justitia.Swiss platform into the STP Legal Communication Center (LCC).
Use of Justitia.Swiss Login Credentials
To use your Justitia.Swiss organization within the LCC, you must create a technical user in the Justitia.Swiss portal. This provides you with a user ID and password, which the LCC uses to authenticate with Justitia.Swiss. In the LCC, a so-called channel identity is manually created by you for the Justitia.Swiss organization.
To use the LCC, log in with your STP IAM Cloud account. STP IAM permissions determine which users are allowed to manage channel identities. These permissions are added by an administrative user to an IAM group—usually created by that user—and the relevant employees of the STP IAM Cloud tenant are authorized. There is no automatic assignment of users to these permissions.
Within the LCC, you create a corresponding channel identity for your Justitia.Swiss organization. In addition to general information such as your organization’s delivery address, you also store the user ID and password there. Both pieces of data are stored encrypted in the LCC database. The key used to encrypt and decrypt this data is stored in a separate key management system. STP employees do not have access to this key and cannot decrypt the login credentials. Only the corresponding LCC service can technically use the key.
For existing channel identities, the stored credentials can be updated by law firm employees but cannot be viewed. The LCC never displays the credentials in plain text.
