In the submenu of tax matters, the scenarios for your firm's business transactions are preconfigured. These preconfigured scenarios help your staff easily create invoices and record entries. By configuring the scenarios correctly for your firm, errors are avoided, and the secretarial work is effectively supported.
StSachV – Case Accounts
Under StSachV–Case Accounts, the case-related tax matters for expenses, revenues, and tax-free disbursements are configured in a central view. The following properties can be assigned: abbreviation, type (controls the input options of the BU keys for revenue and expense), tax-free disbursement, description, account, account tax type, tax rate, EU VAT ID, and the BU keys for revenue and expense.
For the types Neutral and Revenue, you can choose between the accounting types Revenue and Advance. The checkbox Offset Account for Received Advances determines whether invoice amounts from advance invoices are posted to the account with the function Offset Account for Received Advances without VAT. When the invoice is paid, the amounts are rebooked to the specified revenue account of this tax matter.
The specification of an abbreviation is used to make the tax matter visible in the case account. In the case account, you see the invoicing broken down by fees, disbursements, and tax-free disbursements, and you know from the tax matter abbreviation which tax the invoice was posted with.
You can lock and allow (activate) the configured tax matters. Only active tax matters appear in the selection lists.
StSachV – General Booking
Under General Booking, Lexolution refers to bookings that are not case-related, such as marketing, rent, or electricity costs of your firm. You can preconfigure these recurring bookings to help your staff correctly select accounts and tax keys, thereby reducing the error rate in booking. For booking configurations that should be available under Account Statement, please check Financial Account, the specification of an account number in the Account field can be omitted with this option, as you already pre-select the financial account when booking the account statement.
