Overview of the Ergonomics Concept

General Information

The software interface was developed in collaboration with a leading company in user interface design. It meets the latest standards for comfortable and ergonomic user navigation.

Using Lexolution becomes a simple, intuitive, and pleasant experience.

The interface is divided into three vertical sections: Navigation on the left, the workspace with list and details in the middle, and the quick info of the selected object on the right. The user interface follows the ribbon concept of Microsoft Office 2010. All functions that can be performed on an object are accessible via the ribbon. The ribbon contextually activates only the functions that can be performed on the object.

Double Click

You can start editing by double-clicking on a list entry. This makes working with KMS even more efficient. Alternatively, you can start editing using the Edit button or the Ctrl+B keyboard shortcut.

Required Fields

Required fields or tabs, or add/remove lists containing mandatory inputs, are marked by an orange line to the left of the field. This way, you can quickly see which basic data is needed to save an entry.

Multiple Views

You can open multiple views simultaneously, allowing you to respond more flexibly to interruptions in your workflow, such as calls and inquiries.

When you click on a navigation entry or trigger the quick search by pressing Enter, the existing view is used to display the newly opened view. With this approach, you always have only one view open.

You can open a new view parallel to the existing one by using the context menu on a navigation entry with Open in New View or by triggering the quick search with Ctrl + Enter.

The currently selected view is visually marked with a blue background. In detail, the selected tab is marked with blue text.

Please note that having many open views may lead to performance slowdowns.

Custom Positioning of Sections

The layout of the views can be flexibly designed with dockable sections. You can arrange the list, details, and quick info within the view according to your needs and save this arrangement by explicitly closing the view. If you want to restore the default view, you can do so under the new View ribbon using the Reset Active View button.
