Invoice Preparation

In the Invoice Preparation view, you can evaluate billable services (time and expenses) for each case. This gives the user an overview of the key metrics of the cases and shows which times and expenses are ready for billing. The view can be updated by the user at any time, meaning there's no need to update the evaluation database like for the report 1204 - Time Evaluation with Case Reference.

Once the services of a case are added to an invoice draft and this draft is finalized, these services will no longer be displayed for the case in the Invoice Preparation view. This allows the user to quickly and easily check the billing status of the case even after billing has been completed.

All completed times and all expenses, divided into taxable and non-taxable expenses, are displayed, which are not assigned to an invoice draft or an invoice. Additionally, all other fees with the billing status Not Billed are shown.

The filtered cases are listed at the top of the list. By clicking on the small black arrow next to the cases, you can expand them. This makes the associated services of the case visible per employee. By selecting an entry in the list, the corresponding details are displayed in the lower part of the view.

The Quick Info displays additional important billing information for the case, particularly the number of invoice drafts that have already been created for the case. You can jump directly to the invoice draft view for these drafts via the link with the number of invoice drafts.

Using the Print button, you can create a simple standard report of the current view.

In the Sorting ribbon group, three sorting settings are available for quick access.

The arrangement of the columns can be saved as a layout using the Save Details button.

Numerous filter options are available.
