Overview of Files

Files

Display

The information section for each file is divided into 3 areas.

Each of these areas contains individual panels that can be arranged in order and moved between areas.
Panels that aren't needed can be permanently shown or hidden.
Custom settings are saved when you close the view.
In the tables of the panels, you can save the column order and displayed columns for each panel in your user profile.
The tables in the panels can be displayed as cards.
You can also change the display order and save it in your user profile. The tables in the panels always show the 4 columns: Creator, Created by, Editor, Edited on, regardless of changes to the file.

In the ribbon, the top command bar under View, you can reset individual or all views and object list layouts to restore the default state.

When the view is opened, the Favorites filter is activated, so your personal file favorites are displayed.
Additionally, all files with the status Potential and In Progress and all file types are displayed.
The location is not preset.
The Context Filter option is automatically set and activated by the system when the view is opened via a context menu jump.

File List

The file list shows a list of all files in the system when you click on Files. You can sort, group, and filter the file list. By right-clicking on a selected file, you can switch to another view via the context menu. If you have only one file displayed in the file list, the file number is shown at the top of the tab.

When the view is opened, the Favorites filter (in the Filter area) is automatically activated, so your personal file favorites are displayed.
You can recognize favorites by the ochre star in the file list.

Additionally, all files with the status Potential and In Progress and all file types are displayed.
Locked files are represented by a glasses icon in the view.
The location is not preset in the file filter.

The Context Filter option is automatically set and activated by the system when the view is opened via a context menu jump.
