Export Settings

You can find the Export Settings view in the navigation bar under
Administration/Accounting

Account Number Length

Here you can set the length of account numbers. They can be between 4 and 8 characters long.

Export EA Transactions

You can choose to export only income and expense transactions.
Invoice posting transactions will not be exported.
Lexolution will then transform business transactions of the type "Debtor OPOS Payment" for export (the payment posting will be replaced by the invoice posting).
The included customer account will be replaced by the general ledger account from the tax transaction.

The export settings "Advisor Name," "Advisor Number," and "Client Number" are not found in the "Export Settings" view, but rather in the "Export Formats" view in the list details under the DATEV tab.

Export Cost Centers

Here you can enable the function to transfer the employee's Kost1 cost center to external accounting via the Datev interface. The employee's Kost1 cost center is entered under
Firm > Employees > Master Data.
For an invoice posting or payment on the invoice, for example, the cost center of the main responsible attorney on the invoice will be exported, since this person is automatically saved as the employee for the posting.
If you do not check the box to export the employee cost center, then the cost center from the posting (Bank Statement > Cost Center as well as General Posting > Cost Center), if available, will be exported automatically.
The cost unit (Kost2) from the posting will also be exported automatically, if available.

Export Cost Units

Here you can select which cost unit you want to export. You have three options:

• Posting Cost Unit
• File Reference as Cost Unit
• Location Cost Unit

User-Specific Runs

You can enable the function to generate a run not only by period, but also by user.
This allows users to export "their" runs independently of each other.
In the Export Runs and Export Export Postings views, you will find a posting filter or a user filter to filter and export the display of runs by user.
