Lexolution offers you numerous reports for documenting and analyzing your accounting. The areas of commercial bookkeeping and office-related controlling reports are evaluated from different perspectives, so that the primarily tax-related aspects can be found in reports from external financial accounting programs.
In its basic design, the booking process and booking interface are modeled after the standard software for tax consultants—DATEV. However, when booking with Lexolution, commercial bookkeeping and office-related net income-expense accounting are combined. This is done by incorporating a third account (referred to as the EA account) whenever a payment flow is represented in the bookkeeping, and by linking the bookkeeping with the corresponding additional information (cost centers and cost units) such as file, location, lead attorney, or practice group.
Lexolution allows you to record recurring business transactions in your office configuration once, effectively supporting your staff in creating invoices, recording expenses, and making bookings. This helps avoid errors and supports a standardized representation of business transactions. For many business transactions, automatic bookings are generated, such as the invoicing entry to the debtor account of the invoice recipient when an invoice is finalized.
The configuration examples available in Lexolution are merely examples. It is strongly recommended to establish and review the configurations in the accounting area with your tax consultant before you start creating invoices, recording expenses, and making bookings. Once the configurations for accounting are set and bookings have been recorded, the configurations should not be changed without careful consideration.
Financial and file accounting are intertwined in Lexolution. Unlike other systems, Lexolution ensures there are no contradictory statements or inconsistencies between the file account and financial accounting. You receive a stable, consistent, and reliable foundation for any reports and controlling views.
