Update STP Common Services

Note
For the installation of Erlang OTP, the Windows environment variable Homedrive must be set to C:.

Type set homedrive in the command prompt and press [Enter] to check the environment variable.

Cancel the installation if a different value is configured.

Start a new command prompt as Administrator, type Set HOMEDRIVE=C: to change the environment variable for the current session.

Use the cd command to navigate to the installation directory and start the installation file STP.Common.Services.Setup.exe from this command prompt.

Update the STP Common Services.

  1. Before updating the STP Common Services, stop the STP LEXolution.DMS Server service.

  2. Run the installation file STP.Common.Services.Setup.exe with the option "Run as Administrator" and follow the installation instructions.

    Previous versions of Erlang OTP and RabbitMq will be uninstalled first, and then the current versions will be installed.

  3. Accept the values suggested by the setup in the input and selection fields.

Note
Do not interrupt the setup and especially do not close any command prompts opened by the installer.

If a command prompt requires user action, an error has occurred. In this case, contact the service of STP Informationstechnologie GmbH.
