How to sign in using TOTP as a second factor

TOTP (Timebased On-Time Password) is a security standard in which a time-based code must be entered as a second factor. The codes for this are provided by an app that must be configured inital for the respective user account. Possible apps for this are, for example, Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator.

At the bottom of the following pages there is a language selection that the user can use to select a language,
as they are not yet logged in at the time and their configured language is therefore not available.

The ‘TOTP Second Factor’ input page

TOTP als zweiter Faktor

This page appears after you have entered your email and password if a second factor has been set up with TOTP. Here you enter the code currently displayed in the authenticator app and confirm this with the ‘Confirm’ button. If the code has been successfully verified, you are logged in and forwarded to the STP Cloud. If it is not possible to access your Authenticator app at the time of sign in (e.g. smartphone not available), a backup code can also be entered here. Please note that each backup code can only be used once, so you should only use it if it is really necessary.
