TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) is a security standard where a time-based code must be entered as a second factor. These codes are provided by an app that is initially configured for the specific user account. Possible apps for this include Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator.
At the bottom of the pages shown below, there is a language selection that the user can use to choose a language,
since they are not logged in at that time and therefore their set language is not available.
The ‘TOTP Second Factor’ Entry Page
This page appears after the initial entry of email and password, provided a second factor with TOTP has been set up.
Here, you enter the code currently displayed in the configured authenticator app and confirm it with the ‘Confirm’ button.
If the code is successfully verified, you are logged in and redirected to the STP Cloud.
If you cannot access your authenticator app at the time of login (e.g., smartphone not available), you can also enter a backup code here. Note that each backup code can only be used once, so you should only use them when absolutely necessary.
