How to Download Files in Input Management

Some views in Input Management provide an option to download generated files.

Generating files

Audit Trail

When viewing the details of a processed document, an option is available to download the generated files. These include the original document along with additional metadata files containing useful information for the support process.

Without class
In processing

If a document cannot be processed due to an error and is assigned the Without class (Ohne Klasse) label, clicking on the label provides an option to download the file for manual processing. (If clicking on the label does not navigate to a different view, check whether the user is in the required role: IM.Employee.TenantAdministrator)

If a document is moved to the Faulty Documents lane, the original file can be downloaded for manual processing.

Reports can be generated as needed.

Downloading files

Download popup

Clicking the Download button triggers a pop-up message indicating that file generation is running in the background.

Notification bell

Once the file is ready, a notification appears in the Notification Bell at the top right, next to the profile image.

Notification service

Opening the notification panel displays a list of all generated documents. New notifications appear in bold. Selecting a notification starts the file download.

Troubleshooting

Download Button is Missing

If the download or file generation button is missing, the following checks can be performed: (See Permissions for details.)

  • Downloading button missing - check whether the user is in the required role: IM.Employee.TenantAdministrator.
  • Reporting is unavailable - check whether the user is in the required role: IM2.Employee.Reporting.

Notification bell is missing

If the Notification Bell is not visible, the following should be checked: (See Permissions for details.)

  • Tenant’s License - in Tenant Licenses check whether the tenant includes the required license: Notification.
  • User’s Permissions - in User Management check whether the user has the required permission: notification.consumer (part of Benachrichtigung, IM.Employee.TenantAdministrator or IM2.Employee.Reporting role)
