How To Use Smart Legal Research

If you do not use Advoware and Legal Twin® - Case Knowledge in your law firm, you can still use Legal Twin - Smart Legal Research.

Access Smart Legal Research via the dashboard in the stp.one Cloud. You can either ask the chatbot general legal questions,

search for judgments on specific cases,

summarize a case yourself and search for comparable judgments based on it,

or ask the chatbot for formulation suggestions, such as:

When you have finished with a research, you can archive the chat and start directly with the next research. You can still access the archived chat histories.

If you use Advoware and Legal Twin® - Case Knowledge, you can conveniently access Smart Legal Research directly from the case file via the “Legal Twin” button.

Open the AI chatbot and select “Rechtsprechungen”.

You can now communicate directly with the chatbot and ask it questions:

Or you can have your case file summarized by Legal Twin® - Case Knowledge and select “Would you like to start legal research based on your case?” under Rechtsprechungen.

Smart Legal Research will now summarize the legal aspects of the case based on the information from your case file and search for relevant judgments. Under “Show references” at the end of the chatbot’s message, you can view the reference judgments and navigate directly to the respective judgment.

You can also ask the chatbot additional questions to research specific legal issues.

The chatbot can also assist you in creating documents and written submissions, for example:
