How can I claim ownership of an organization as an administrator?

Going forward, every tenant in the STP Cloud will have an owner. To learn about the responsibilities and rights associated with ownership, see the article What can I do as the owner of an organization.

In some cases, it's not possible to automatically determine the owner from a tenant's administrators. If no owner has been assigned to your organization yet, you can claim ownership yourself as an administrator.

Prerequisites

• You are an administrator of the organization.
• No owner has been assigned to the organization yet.

Claiming ownership

1. Open the tenant management area by clicking the Tenant Admin application tile.

   

2. The Dashboard page is displayed.

3. Click Claim ownership. Alternatively, you can use the button to the right of the Owner field.

   

You are now registered as the owner of the organization.

Note: For security reasons, all administrators of the organization will be notified by email that ownership has been claimed.
