What can I do as an organization owner?

In STP Cloud organizations, there is a new user role in addition to users and administrators: the owner. Certain functions that affect the entire organization are available exclusively to the owner.

The owner is also the primary point of contact for important communications from STP Cloud, which are typically sent by email.

Accessing owner functions

1. Open the tenant management by clicking the Tenant Admin application tile.

   

2. On the Dashboard page, you will find all the functions available to you as an owner.

   

Function overview

Change display name

You can change the display name of the organization at any time.

Change subdomain

You can request a subdomain change. The subdomain lets you access your organization directly — for example, with the subdomain mydomain, you would reach it at mydomain.stp-cloud.de.

Changing the subdomain affects existing connections, such as on-premises connections. For this reason, you only need to enter your desired subdomain here. A request will then automatically be sent to support. The support team will plan the change and coordinate the implementation with you.

Transfer ownership

You can transfer ownership to another user.

Note: The new owner will automatically be added to the administrators group. You will remain a member of this group and will not be removed automatically.

Set organization country

You can specify which country the organization is assigned to.

Delete organization

Only the owner can delete an organization. Once deleted, no user will have access to the organization any longer.

Note: The organization is initially only marked for deletion. Within a certain period of time, support can therefore restore it.
